Paul Nagin

Paul Nagin

Paul Nagin is the founder and president of Chimborazo Publishing, Inc. He is a computer scientist, researcher, and author who has taught and published extensively for over 35 years, including writing textbooks for many of the major publishing houses. Dr. Nagin holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He conducted pioneering research in medical image analysis at Tufts University School of Medicine, where he authored many articles, grants, and presentations on the automated detection of glaucoma and other ophthalmic pathologies. He developed computer animation sequences for a number of medical documentary films, one of which won the John Muir award for documentary film. He was a professor of Computer Science for 15 years and department chair at Hofstra University, where he taught a wide range of computer science courses and graduate seminars. Dr. Nagin is also an environmental activist and avid mountain climber.

Jay Youngdahl

Jay Youngdahl

Jay Youngdahl is a founder and principal of Chimborazo Publishing, Inc., specializing in business development and structure. He is a lawyer, writer, and consultant. Jay holds an M.Div from Harvard University, a J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin, an M.A. from St. John’s College and a B.S. from the University of Houston. He has been included in The Best Lawyers in America for over twenty years. He is a Senior Fellow at Harvard University’s Initiative for Responsible Investment and a Network Fellow at the Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard. He is a majority owner of the East Bay Express in Oakland, California where he writes the “Raising the Bar” column. He has taught management and law both in law schools and graduate business programs in Europe and in the United States.

Rita Mitra

Rita Mitra

Rita Mitra is the learning and development manager at Chimborazo Publishing, Inc. Rita holds an M.S. in Computer Science from New York University, and has worked as a manager, editor, designer, and programmer in the publishing and information technology industries for over ten years. Prior to this, Rita was a music educator and performer. She holds a D.M.A. in Piano Performance from the Manhattan School of Music, and an M.M. in Piano Performance from the Juilliard School of Music.​
